Welcome to Atlantic Cape Community College! As President of Atlantic Cape, I am pleased to share with you the 2024-2025 edition of the College Catalog.
Serving as the ninth president of this institution has been an honor and a privilege and I am committed to devoting my time and energy to achieve Atlantic Cape’s vision of fulfilling the region’s educational and economic needs.
I am confident you will find that this catalog contains invaluable information that will help you navigate your road to success. But know that you are not alone. At Atlantic Cape, our new One Stop Welcome Center demonstrates our student-centered approach to admissions, advising, registration, financial services, and your education in the classroom. Atlantic Cape will provide you with an individualized support system as you work to achieve your educational goals. With our commitment to providing accessible and high-quality educational opportunities to a diverse population, Atlantic Cape is proud to be designated as both a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) and an Achieving the Dream, (ATD), Leader College.
In our rapidly changing world, Atlantic Cape students require flexibility to learn and grow. Through technological innovation and staying ahead of the curve on accessibility, we are equipped to provide the Atlantic Cape educational experience in-person on our campuses in Mays Landing, Cape May and Atlantic City as well as remotely. Whether you are an in-person student, an online student, or even a bit of both, we are committed to providing classes and student services in an effective and cost-efficient manner. We also encourage you to get involved outside of the classroom, such as joining one of our many student clubs, athletic teams, or the Student Government Association (SGA).
Remember that your education here is only the beginning. A degree or professional certificate from Atlantic Cape can lead to a variety of career pathways and is designed to transfer seamlessly to many four-year universities in New Jersey and beyond. We strive to continuously improve our educational offerings and support services to meet the evolving needs of our community and to prepare our students to succeed. Some recent examples of the innovative spirit here include our new Nursing LPN Certificate and the Associates in Physics degree program. In addition, our recent partnerships with Stockton University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Rutgers University create affordable pathways for an easy transition to complete your bachelor’s degree.
