Topics include the pharmacology of addiction, the initial interviewing process, biopsychosocial assessment and differential diagnosis, and diagnostic summaries of chemical addictions and compulsive gambling. These topics conform to Domain I of the CADC coursework as prescribed by the Addiction Professionals Certification Board of N.J., Inc.
