The Engineering, A.S. is focused on providing students with the first two years of a baccalaureate degree in engineering. The program is designed to educate students to meet the challenge of engineering in an ever-changing world and to foster understanding of universal topics in engineering. At the baccalaureate degree level, students can choose to specialize in one of the following engineering disciplines:
- Civil Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering

Upon completion of this program students will be able to:
- Design and conduct experiments using appropriate engineering tools and techniques to investigate and solve engineering challenges;
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data with precision to ensure accuracy, reliability, and adherence to scientific methods in engineering decision-making;
- Apply engineering design principles to develop innovative solutions that address technical challenges while upholding ethical responsibility and considering economic, environmental, and societal impacts;
- Demonstrate independent and collaborative problem-solving in complex engineering challenges while upholding professionalism, adaptability, and meaningful contributions in interdisciplinary and technical environments;
- Communicate engineering concepts and solutions effectively through technical writing, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to industry and academic standards.
